A glass vitrine, inviting the community to witness entrepreneurial activities.

Located in the Collegetown section of Ithaca, New York, the Center for Business Education—the executive education center for the SC Johnson College of Business—is a P3 (Public Private Partnership) project and the first academic building for Cornell University in this rapidly evolving innovation district one block from campus. The building acts like a glass vitrine, inviting the community to witness the entrepreneurial activities occurring within.
The building’s façade includes a combination of clear and patterned glass with a rhythmic arrangement of projecting aluminum mullion-fins, painted a red-orange color to reflect the brick buildings of Collegetown.
