The Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center project is an addition and renovation of exhibit and support spaces for an organization that uses the life lessons of Yogi Berra, the New York Yankees, and the game of baseball to teach and promote good sportsmanship, social justice, and the pursuit of excellence.
The addition provides a flexible gallery space for exhibitions, receptions, book signings, and pre-function event space. This gallery transforms the overall appearance of the Learning Center by using transparency to initiate the visitor, and passersby, to the mission of the Museum. Located next to the entry of a Minor League Baseball park, the Museum acts as a glass case for publicly displaying the treasures and communicating the values of America’s favorite pastime.
